The moment we have all been waiting for has arrived: Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, reunited with the Spice Girls to dance along to the 1996 hit “Say You’ll Be There”.

The girl group, minus Scary Spice, dominated the dance floor together to their unforgettable hit song while celebrating Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell’s birthday.

David Beckham posted the nostalgic clip to Instagram with the caption: “Special celebrating Ginger this weekend and even more special to capture this moment of the girls. A friendship for life”.

Comments under the clip have shown the public’s undying love for the girl group, with one saying:  “David thank you for capturing! [My] gay heart and soul is so happy – that is my 90s life right there!”

One fan wrote: “Think a reunion at Glastonbury is a must”, while another asked why Scary Spice was missing: “David you made our day with this beautiful reunion. I truly love my Spice Girls, but wait a minute! Where’s Mel B? We missed her in the video”.

Fans remain hopeful that one day all five group members will come together to perform their hits, with one user commenting under David’s post: “Hopefully she [Victoria] wants a reunion tour now”.

Victoria Beckham, now a fashion designer, chose not to join the 2019 Spice Girls reunion tour – much to everyone’s disappointment. The tour saw fans flying from across the globe to watch the band perform their first shows in 11 years.

Spice Girls’ Melanie C, better known as Sporty Spice, recently shared that the girl group stood for “Gay Power” as much as they did “Girl Power”, both causes PinkNews is very much behind.

Posh Spice echoed Sporty Spice and in an interview with Condé Nast she reflected on how the Spice Girls helped young queer people with their band of Girl Power.
