Rapper Lil Baby speaks out after alleged gay sex tape goes viral

US rapper Lil Baby has sternly refuted online rumours that he is involved in a gay sex video.
Earlier this week, a video of a man giving another man oral sex went viral, with some online claiming the man performing the sex act resembles Lil Baby.
The short clip is a pixelated, screen-recording of an Instagram reel, and the man in question’s face is largely covered by a caption, which reads: “Nah Lil Baby”, alongside a cry-laughing emoji and a thumbs down emoji.
Another video shows the man without the caption covering his face, which confirms it is not Lil Baby in the video.
Despite this, fans of the Grammy Award-winning rapper, who is known for his Billboard Hot 100 top 10 single “Yes Indeed” featuring Drake, have run with the false claim.
Many have shared cruel memes and homophobic jokes about the musician, who has now appeared to respond to the discourse around the footage.
On Sunday (22 October) Lil Baby set the record straight, taking aim at “sick” people using his name “for clout”.
Writing on Instagram Stories, the 28-year-old urged: “Y’all gotta stop using my name and likeness when y’all get bored, then the extremes [mother f**kers] go to for clout is sick.
“Ain’t no mystery in my history on NO LEVEL. This is my last time addressing any kind of dumb ass click bait.”
Lil Baby was previously in a relationship with model and TV personality Jayda Cheaves, with whom he shares a four-year-old son.
Earlier this month, he was forced to deny there was any relationship or romance between him and fellow rapper Chrisean Rock.
In a now-deleted post on X, formerly Twitter, Lil Baby fumed: “I ain’t with the trolling sh*t. I be laughing at certain sh*t but aite now stop playing. I ain’t never tried to talk to no [motherf**king] Chrisean. Please stop attaching my name to that.”
