The Bachelor star Colton Underwood is headed back to the small screen with a new reality series focused on virgins “looking for love.”
Are You My First? will be hosted by Underwood and Dancing with the Stars winner Kaitlyn Bristowe. The series promises “the largest, hottest group of virgins ever assembled” on the “search for intimacy, love, and maybe their first, in a tropical paradise designed just for them… free to explore their connections without judgment”.
The “sexy young contestants [will be allowed] to embark on a heated yet heartfelt journey packed with romantic dates, revealing challenges and new love interests, eager to find ‘the one’.”
Underwood posted a short video on Monday (21 July) showing him and Bristowe dancing to Madonna’s “Like A Virgin” on a beach.
Underwood first caught the public’s eye on season 14 of The Bachelorette, where he discussed being a virgin. He went on to appear in Bachelor in Paradise, and later The Bachelor, which he left with Cassie Randolph.
Their relationship ended in 2020 and Randolph later filed a restraining order against the former NFL hopeful, accusing him of stalking and harassing her. Underwood denied “physically abusing” her but apologised for his behaviour.
Underwood came out publicly as gay in 2021 and documented the process in a Netflix series. He married political strategist Jordan C Brown in 2023 and they welcomed a son into the world in September.
Bristowe appeared in season 19 of The Bachelor and season 11 of The Bachelorette. Last year, appearing on the Off the Vine podcast, she talked about thinking she was asexual or “into women”, People reported.
Are You My First? is due to premiere on Hulu and Disney+ on 18 August.
