Christine McGuinness sparks dating rumours with Strictly star after bedroom confession

Christine McGuinness is reportedly dating Nicola Adams after previously saying she’s a “five-star lesbian” who is “looking for a wife”.
The reports come after the pair were seen together at DIVA Awards 2026 in London, where onlookers told the Daily Mail they appeared inseparable.
McGuinness, who split from Paddy McGuinness in 2024 after 11 years of marriage, has been open about wanting a same-sex relationship: “I would love to have a wife one day, not like a legalised marriage, but like a blessing, a celebration of love and all of that,” she said. “I would love to just be saying, this is my wife.”
She also joked in a recent interview on podcast It Started With a Kiss that she’s a “five-star lesbian” and a “giver,” while emphasising she’s taking her time when it comes to relationships.
“I don’t want to bring somebody into my personal life too quickly. I like the separate life,” she said, adding that her children remain her priority.
Adams, an Olympic gold medallist and former Strictly Come Dancing star, split from partner Ella Baig in 2025. Adams’ representatives declined to comment on the dating rumours.
