Actor Luke Evans treated fans to a glimpse of his chiselled abs as he tried on his leather Met Gala hat one final time – and they were very grateful.
The out gay star was among a handful of famous faces, including Nicholas Hoult, who wore leather looks to the annual fashion event. But it seems Evans wasn’t ready to let the moment go just yet, as he shared a series of images on Instagram with his hat on.
In the first shot, the Beauty and the Beast star wore the the Palomo hat low on his head, with it covering his eyes. The black and white photo saw Evans standing strong, with his toned body doing plenty of heavy lifting.
The other shots were in colour, showing the deep burgundy of the leather hat. He threw on a pair of aviator sunglasses for the shots, though still posed in just his jeans.
He wrote in the caption: “Had to try the hat on one last time a week since I wore it on the Met Gala stone carpet, before it went into the archives! Loved it!”

‘The stuff my gay dreams are made of’
And it’s clear fans in the comments loved it too. One said: “This is the stuff my gay dreams are made of.” Another commented: “You look absolutely amazing.”
Someone else said: “The hat looks great, but not as great as the person wearing it.” And another added: “You look so hot Luke!”
Evans also mentioned Tom of Finland in his Instagram caption, with the entire looking having drawn inspiration from the iconic artist.
Palomo explained on Instagram: “In response to this year’s theme, ‘Fashion Is Art’, the ensemble draws from the bold, graphic sensuality of Tom of Finland, echoing his precise linework, celebration of subcultures, and unapologetic eroticism.”
