Big Brother host Will Best has confessed he “sometimes wishes he was gay” during a sweat-inducing lie detector test on Hits Radio.
The presenter underwent a lie detector on his Hits Radio Breakfast show, which he hosts alongside X Factor legend Fleur East and comedian James Barr, who is gay.
While the questions started off fairly innocent – does he fancy Fleur, does he think James’ comedy is good – Barr soon asked a question that got lots of people talking.
He said: “Do you secretly wish you were gay?” Without missing a beat, Best replied: “Sometimes, yeah.”
Singer East gasped and put her hand to her mouth, as the lie detector operator said: “Wow. Yeah. He’s telling the truth.”
Barr burst out laughing too, as Best added: “I think everyone does sometimes, don’t they? Sometimes.”
In the comments to the video on Instagram, Barr wrote: “Happy pride @iamwillbest,” adding a Pride flag emoji.
Someone else echoed this, writing: “Well well well Mr Best… happy pride to our ally!”
Another said: “Happy pride month @iamwillbest.”
As someone else, sharing the thoughts of us all, said: “I think many wish Will was gay.”
In recent years, despite a length presenting career, Best has cemented himself as a gay pin-up thanks to his time on Big Brother.
He has regularly been seen in very little or quite revealing outfits on the show, which always sends the gays absolutely feral.
