Kristen Stewart gives rare insight into marriage with ‘delicate’ wife Dylan Meyer

Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer

Kristen Stewart has heaped praise on wife Dylan Meyer, after the two worked together on comedy The Wrong Girls.

Meyer directed Stewart in the film, which follows to best friends living “paycheck to paycheck and bong rip to bong rip” who end up getting caught up in a chaotic case of mistaken identity.

Speaking to E! News, Stewart said she couldn’t have been more impressed with her wife.

She said: “It’s the way that she chooses the people that surround the thing that she loves so much. You have to find people that love it just as much, because as a filmmaker, it’s your first, but then it has to transfer.”

The Twilight star went on: “Dylan has this beautiful, delicate, gentle, inviting ability to be like, ‘This is yours.’ And so the crew was ready to jump into any hot or cold water for her. It was so much fun to make this movie.”

Meyer also spoke of wanting Stewart in the movie, saying: “I actually shared it with her probably seven years before we ever reconnected and started dating. When I first met her, I always wanted Kristen to be in the movie.”

She joked to her wife: “That’s not why I started dating you.”
