Big Brother house erupts as face-to-face nominations expose true feelings

Things get tense in tonight's Big Brother

The Big Brother housemates are forced to reveal what they really think of each other tonight, as they give face-to-face nominations.

In the “Week of Revelations”, housemates receive the news that they will nominate in front of each other, and it’s safe to say it doesn’t go down well.

Frankie Taber, who came out as bisexual earlier in the series, tells one co-star: “You talk a lot of s*** about everyone in this house and out of everyone, you’re the one who gets away with it.”

Omar El Mayer, who was slammed this week for his part in a discussion about trans rights and LGBTQ+ allyship, also tells someone: “Your only major contribution to the house is chaos.”

At one point, ex-Made In Chelsea star Rhianna Collins starts laughing as Pauline Adeyemo gives her nominations, later interrupting Rob Stirzaker during his. He claps back: “Darling, we all shut our mouths when you did your nominations.”

After the results are revealed, Pauline speaks to Harry Symonds and Rob in the bathroom, unaware newbie Catrin Richards is in the toilet.

Pauline says: “Don’t start on me, you literally just got here… I don’t even owe you a hello at this point, ‘Pauline, give me attention, it’s about me.’

‘This week is not about you’

“It’s not about you, babe, you just got here. Like, you ain’t gonna get your moment, girl. Go look for it elsewhere, you ain’t gonna find it here.”

She brands the ordeal “ridiculous”, adding she thinks Catrin looked “stupid”, before Catrin comes out of the toilet and tells her she heard everything.

Pauline tells her: “You really tried to make that moment about you and I wouldn’t go for it… it’s not about you. This week is not about you.”

Catrin says: “Nothing is about me and I’m not trying to say that.”

Pauline goes on: “Oh my gosh. I can’t. No seriously, I can’t. And now she’s in tears and ‘I’m the bad guy, I’m the villain’. Like, what the f***?”

When Catrin goes back into the bedroom with the other housemates, an argument erupts when everyone else finds out she’s upset.

Housemates sent to jail

Elsewhere in the episode, Rochelle Rackham and Omar end up in Big Brother “jail” after a series of rule breaks.

Their conversation about nominations is played back to the house, before Omar is also told off for writing a message to Rhianna for her birthday, which is also a rule break.

In the “jail” in the garden, Rochelle moans: “It’s like a f****** dog kennel… this isn’t even funny. I feel claustrophobic.”

As Harry asks if they’ll be in there long, Pauline says: “I hope so.”

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
