Elton John takes time out to go to his school reunion
Sir Elton John has taken time out of his no-doubt busy schedule to attend a school reunion with some classmates he hadnāt seen for fifty years.
Posting the photo to Instagram, the Rocketman star wrote that he hadnāt seen many of his friends from Pinner Grammar School for five decades.
He wrote: āLunch at home with dear old school friends. Many of whom I havenāt seen for 50 years! It was as if we never left school. So much laughter and so many wonderful memories.ā
Of his friend Keith Francis, who flew from Australia for the reunion, he wrote: āA wonderful, loyal friend for 57 years and still counting! He flew all the way from Australia for our class reunion. Love you so much.ā
In other Sir Elton news, after a long-awaited biopic of the singerās life is released, his songs and experiences will be brought to Londonās West End in a musical.
The musical will be created by the team who brought Billy Elliott to life on the stage.
āIt will be called āRocketmanā but we will do the film first,ā Old Vic producer Sally Greene said.
