Watch: Elton John and James Corden sing Lion King tribute in Carpool Karaoke
Sir Elton John joined James Corden this week for a Lion King sing-along, and it was pretty amazing.
The out music legend was appearing on Cordenās US talk show The Late Late Show to promote his 32nd album, Wonderful Crazy Night.
He took part in the comicās Carpool Karaoke segment, singing along to classics including Your Song, Donāt Let the Sun Go Down On Me, and Circle of Life from the Lion King.
James Corden also asked the star ā who recently ended a bitter feud with fashion designers Dolce and Gabbana ā about his reputation for tantrums.
Corden asked: āYou have had some tantrums in your time. Thereās so many stories and you never know which are true ā which is the one you look back on and think āthat was quite a tantrumā?ā
The singer recounted: āThere is oneā¦ Iād been up for a couple days at the Inn in the Park in London, and I was still up at 11 in the morning.
āI rang the office, and said āitās far too windy here, can you do something about it?ā
āI can imagine him putting his hand over the receiver and going āheās finally lost the plot!ā
āIt wasnāt a tantrum as such, but as reality goes, itās pretty far off the chart.ā
However, he added that he finds it easy to deal with his own sons when they get upset.
He says: āI love it. Theyāve been amazing ā I havenāt had one second in Zachary or Elijahās lives where I felt theyād been getting on my nerves.
āI canāt believe Iām sitting in the car telling you this.
He added: āTen years ago if youād told me Iād be telling you this, Iād have said youāre crazy ā but itās changed my life.
āI thought that I was too old to be a dad, but Iām not too old to be a dad ā youāre not too old to to anything. Those kids have changed our lives completely.ā
Heās not the only star to join Corden recently ā Adele also joined him for a carpool sing-along session last month.
