The Spice Girls are set to get an animated movie, according to the band’s manager.
In an interview with Billboard, Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller said that the newly-reformed band have lots of “exciting things” coming up included a Spice Girls movie.
Asked about the reaction to the band’s sold-out reunion tour, Fuller said: “To be honest with you, while it was clearly phenomenal, they are such an awesome phenomenon I expected it.
“The last tour we did seven or eight years ago the demand was equal, if not maybe even more. It’s a global phenomenon.”

Fuller continued: “They’re more timely now than ever and it’s fantastic. I’m so happy for the girls. They deserve it.
“What’s coming next is that we are going to be doing lots of exciting things. We’ll be making an animated movie and there’s lots of exciting plans to come.”
In November, Spice Girls announced a six-date reunion tour in the UK—minus Victoria Beckham.
The four members will come together for the June 2019 tour, supported by Jess Glynne, which will see the band perform in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

The Spice Girls have been teasing a reunion tour since February 2018 when images of the band, including Victoria Beckham, were posted on social media.
The band originally split up in 2000, having played as a four-piece without Horner for two years, following her exit from the group in 1998.
The reunited five-piece played a reunion tour in 2007 and went on to perform together at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
