Trump rages after lesbian soccer star Megan Rapinoe says she won’t go to White House

President Donald Trump has hit out at lesbian soccer hero Megan Rapinoe, after she vowed not to skip a White House reception.

Rapinoe is expected to be invited to a reception with Trump after the team made it to the quarter-finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Megan Rapinoe: I’m not going to the f**king White House.

However, she suggested she would boycott the event in an interview with Eight By Eight Magazine.

Asked whether she would attend a reception with Trump, Rapinoe said: “I’m not going to the f**king White House.

“No, I’m not going to the White House… we’re not going to be invited! I doubt it.”

The sports star has refused to sing the national anthem at world cup matches, saying the Trump administration doesn’t “value all Americans equally.”

Her comments drew the ire of President Trump in a a mid-morning Twitter storm on Wednesday (June 26).

Taking to Twitter, the leader wrote: “Women’s soccer player, @mPinoe, just stated that she is ‘not going to the F…ing White House if we win.’
