When Cardi B was hit with claims of “queerbaiting” following the release of the video for her song “Wild Side” with Normani, in which the two women are shown embracing while naked, she was quick to set the record straight.

Responding to a Rolling Stone article about queerbaiting which included a reference to the music video, she wrote on Twitter: “Queerbaiting? You do know we was trying to hide a whole baby bump right?

“Also I’m married to a man but I have express soo much about my bisexuality and my experiences wit girls.

“All of a sudden ‘queerbaiting’ is the new word and people use it to the ground!”
