Levi Davis: Bisexual rugby player and former X Factor star missing in Spain

Bisexual rugby player and former X Factor contestant Levi Davis has been reported missing after travelling to Spain more than a week ago.

Davis, aged 24, was last seen at a popular pub located in the La Rambla area of Barcelona on 29 October.

According to a Spanish newspaper, he suddenly left and travelled to Spain with a small black backpack without any additional clothes or money with him.

His former Bath team player, Tom Varndell, has issued an appeal on social media for information on his whereabouts, saying: “If anyone has seen or heard from Levi Davis in the last two weeks could you please drop me a message asap. Many thanks.”

The appeal has also been shared by the Bath rugby team and his fellow teammates Ben Foden and Thom Evans.

The appeal poster reads: “Levi Simeon Davis. Last seen 29th October 2022 in The Old Irish Pub, Barcelona, Spain. Age: 24. Height: 5,9 (1.76m), Professional Rugby Player & Celebrity X Factor contestant. For any information that can help us find him, please email: [email protected].”

His mother Julie told The Sun: “Levi’s family and I are very worried about him and desperate to know that he is OK. Levi, please get in touch with us or if anyone knows anything, please contact us.

“Nobody has heard from him since Oct 29th when he was last known to be in The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona.”

Levi became the first professional rugby union player to come out as bisexual in September 2020 neither his close friends nor family had any inkling.

He wrote a WhatsApp message to his Bath teammates: “I want to be open and honest with you boys, as friends and teammates. I’m bisexual. I have known since I was 18.”

Davis ended the message in a playful tone: “None of you lot are on my radar… so it’s OK.”

He is also known for his television appearance on ITV’s The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019 with his fellow former teammates Ben Foden and Thom Evans.
Aside from his TV appearance, Levi Davis set up a naked modelling profile on the website OnlyFans.

However, to rebuild his career, he joined Ealing Trailfinders in 2020 on a two-year deal which he described as an “amazing opportunity”, but now plays for Worthing Raiders in the National League 2 South for this season.

News of Levi Davis’ disappearance comes after the death of an Australian rugby league player who also went missing in Barcelona last month.
