Trisha Paytas claims she’s going to star in Euphoria season 3 and everyone is shook

It looks like Euphoria season three is getting a cast upgrade as internet icon, Trisha Paytas, has seemingly joined the next season of the hit HBO show.
The Zendaya-led series has reportedly wrapped shooting for the long-delayed season. Updates have been coming through here and there but we still remain light on details.
So, trust Paytas to whip up a frenzy. During the latest episode of her podcast Just Trish, Paytas and Oscar Gracey were discussing Benito Skinner/Benny Drama, also of Internet fame as well as Overcompensating.
“Maybe now that you’re on Euphoria, you’ll get on Overcompensating,” said Gracey. Paytas scoffed and jokingly said, “[if] they can afford me” before adding, “I’m totally kidding!”
Paytas continued, “Me having one role on Euphoria like, ‘unstoppable!’ I really thought I was unstoppable ‘cause I was doing so many calls after that.”
She then said, “Maybe one day I can show my Euphoria self tape. I don’t know if I can. I got to find out the logistics maybe once it airs or something like that. But yeah, I think I really nailed it.”
It has been rumoured in the past that Paytas has auditioned for the show, which seems to have been confirmed here. However, if Paytas does have a role of some kind, she didn’t mention anything more on the subject.
Euphoria fans and Trisha Paytas obsessives united to share their hilarious responses to the news, riffing on the ongoing joke that famous people get reincarnated as Trisha Paytas’ children when they die, as she’s repeatedly given birth shortly after well-known individuals have passed away.
One person quipped that it must mean Zendaya’s famous character Rue is going to die:

The third, and likely last, season of Euphoria is now expected some time in 2026 having wrapped filming.
It will see Zendaya reprise her role as Rue Bennett and some manner of time jump from the last season. Other returning cast members include, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Maude Apatow, Eric Dane, Nika King, Alexa Demie, and Jacob Elordi
As reported by Deadline, Sharon Stone has also joined the cast of season 3 in an undisclosed role. She and Paytas will be joined as newcomers by other new faces including Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, and Kadeem Hardison.
