Bad Bunny has proved once again that he isn’t scared of a spectacle when it comes to fashion at this year’s Met Gala.
The singer, who often adopts a more gender-fluid style, turned up to fashion’s biggest night as an aged-up version of himself.
The 32-year-old looked 50 years older with completely grey hair and a salt and pepper beard, as well as prosthetic makeup, created by Mike Marino. Marino is the artist behind many of Heidi Klum’s incredible Halloween costumes.
This year’s theme was “Costume Art”, with the exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art looking at differing types of bodies in art and fashion, including the “Aging Body”.

While he could have gone for a basic tux, the performer – real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio – went full throttle on the theme with the help of Marino.
Bad Bunny designed his all-black tuxedo with Zara, giving a nod to Charles James’ “Bustle” gown, which is on display at the institute, with his oversized bow. He accessorised with a black cane, even using it to walk, showing he was in full character on the night.
‘Give this guy an Oscar’
Social media users were stunned by the transformation, with one even saying: “Bro even acting the part of old. Give this guy an Oscar.”
Another commented on X: “None of the guys doing it like Benito. Sorry!”
Someone else wrote: “The details are tremendous. He even has age spots on his hands. Hats off to BB and the makeup artist who executed this costume.”
