Conservative pastor thinks ‘liberalism’ turns men gay

A conservative American pastor has declared the latest nonsensical thing that apparently turns you gay, and it’s… “liberalism”.
Reformed Christian pastor and podcaster Dale Partridge made the comments in a YouTube stitch-style video responding to a clip showing controversial firearms advocate and right-wing influencer Kaitlin Bennett grilling a student on a college campus.
The unnamed student was part of a socialist Democrat protest asking the president of the University of Central Florida to turn the college campus into a “sanctuary campus” that would protect undocumented and international students from being detained by ICE.
In the original video, Bennett accuses the student of acting like a “fascist border patrol agent” for occupying a space on campus in order to protest. After initially asking her to leave, the student remains silent, presumably not wanting to engage with her any further.
Partridge responded to the video, saying: “Not only does liberalism make men gay, it makes them incapable of thinking, okay? Liberalism is just, like, feminised politics. So the moment you hit them with equivalency or make them think in categories, they shut down.”
This is not the first time Partridge’s baseless claims have made headlines. Earlier this year, the pastor said in another video that feminism is “a form of transgenderism” because it makes “women reject their femininity to adopt the characteristics of men”.
In the same breath, he also claimed that the feminist movement makes men “grow weak and aimless” because it robs them of their ability to control women.
“They fear marriage because they fear the feminist divorce courts,” he said. “They fear career because they fear the Karens of the HR department.”
He continued: “Instead of submission, [women] lead. Instead of a quiet and gentle spirit, they are loud and assertive. This perversion breeds a fractured society where families crumble, birthrates plummet, and communities unravel into dog-park-ridden childless voids.”
