Heartstopper Forever trailer unveiled ahead of finale premiere this July
Joe Locke and Kit Connor in Heartstopper Forever (Netflix)
Netflix has released the trailer for the hotly anticipated Heartstopper Forever ahead of its release on 17 July, 2026.
In the trailer, Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) are seen for one final time before the series, based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, comes to a close.
The young couple are inseparable, but with Nick about to leave for university and Charlie finding his own feet at school, they are forced to face the reality of a long-distance relationship.
With doubts in their mind, it’s clear their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet.
Elsewhere, their friends – including Tao (William Gao), Elle (Yasmin Finney), Isaac (Tobie Donovan) and Tori (Jenny Walser) – are also navigating their own love lives and friendships, as they deal with growing up and life after school.
It prompts a question all Heartstopper fans will want to know – can first loves really last forever?

New images also give a first-look at Anna Maxwell Martin as Nick’s mum Sarah. The actress has taken over the role, as previous star Olivia Colman was unable to return due to scheduling conflicts.
Olivia Rodrigo fans may also be excited to hear her track “Stupid Song” in the trailer, which is the song’s first ever use. It is taken from her new album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.
Heartstopper Forever is out on Netflix on 17 July
