Jinkx Monsoon has revealed she used to make out with a lesbian in college – until things got a little too “weird”.
The two-time RuPaul’s Drag Race winner opened up about the unexpected college romance during a recent appearance on By The Way By Harriet Rose, where she got candid about her experiences with women.
Jinkx explained that she and her lesbian friend used to make out, but eventually the pair started developing feelings for each other and realised things had “gotten weird”.
The revelation prompted Harriet to joke that they could “make it happen” and that Jinkx would be a lesbian by the end of the year.
“I’ve dabbled,” Jinkx replied.

But she wasn’t quite ready to make the full leap, adding: “Any lesbian who wants to date me has to be ready to be the top.”
The conversation covered everything from Jinkx’s chaotic college years to witchcraft, religious trauma and being raised by a “coven” of formidable women.
Jinkx also spoke openly about her trans identity and discovering intersexuality within her family, as well as the importance of being visible for young trans people.

Elsewhere, she shared stories about her grandmother judging her drag looks before she was ever on Drag Race, a psychic aunt who apparently predicted her future, and even accidentally setting a carpet on fire during a Judy Garland ritual.
And, naturally, there was also some discussion about what Jinkx is actually looking for in a man.
Basically, it sounds like the chaotic overshare we’d expect from Jinkx – and we are very much here for it.
