Hudson Williams’ girlfriend calls out Heated Rivalry fans over ‘uncomfortable’ behaviour

Katelyn Larson, a Vancouver-based tattoo artist and the girlfriend of Heated Rivalry actor Hudson Williams, has asked fans to stop booking tattoo appointments purely because of her connection to the show.
In a 22 September Instagram Story statement, Larson said the behaviour had “crossed some boundaries” and was making her co-workers “hugely uncomfortable”.
She added: “Obviously a lot of you have found the studio because of a certain show and that’s more than okay […] This is where I draw a very hard line: booking an appointment with me or anyone else purely because of the connection to the show crosses a huge territory.”
Larson said some clients have turned up to appointments and questioned staff about her and Williams. “Showing up to your appointment and asking my coworkers any sort of questions about myself or about Hudson is hugely uncomfortable for everyone,” she wrote, signing off: “with peace and love, please stop.”
She also stressed she was not discouraging people from getting tattooed at the studio if they genuinely like the artists’ work. Larson clarified it was fine to book “if you’re following me or any of the other artists because you genuinely like their art and want to get some cool tattoos.”
Hudson Williams and the privacy conversation
Williams, 25, stars in the hockey-themed drama Heated Rivalry opposite Connor Storrie, 26. Williams and Larson made their first red carpet appearance together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in March.
In an ETalk Canada interview clip from March, Williams said Larson prefers to stay out of the spotlight: “She’s not trying to be out there or be perceived.”
The couple’s efforts to keep parts of their relationship private have also played out in the show’s fandom, including when Williams told fans to stop shipping him with Storrie earlier this year, and now Larson’s latest message makes the couple’s boundaries very clear.
