Janette Manrara and Noah Schnapp in Affluenza (Danny Kaan)
Production images of Noah Schnapp and Janette Manrara in theatre show Affluenza have been released, marking Schnapp’s stage debut.
Stranger Things star Schnapp and former Strictly Come Dancing pro Manrara will be joined by Rupert Young, Juliet Cowan, Wallis Currie-Wood and Donald Sage Mackay in the production.
Affluenza‘s run has been extended to 28 November after high ticket demand. It premiered on 26 September at London’s Riverside Studios.
The show is written and directed by Andy Sandberg. Sandberg said: “We’ve been thrilled by the audience’s reaction to Affluenza in previews.
“The extraordinary cast have brought my characters to life in the most wonderful way, and we’re set for a phenomenal run between now and 28 November.”
Tickets, starting at £25, are available now.
What is Affluenza about?

Affluenza tells the story of a teenager, whose drunken car ride ends with devastation.
When the verdict comes down, there’s just one question – is it possible to be too affluent to know the difference between what’s right and what’s wrong?
The production is inspired by real events, which followed a shocking legal defence. It is set to explore how power and privilege trickle out during tricky times.
It is set in the ultra-wealthy haven of the Hamptons, in the US.
Expect thought-provoking questions about moral accountability, family legacy, and the US justice system.
Mainstage 26/27

Affluenza is the first of five plays at Riverside Studios for Mainstage 26/27. Each will appear for a limited run.
Also confirmed to run are Sacriliegious, written by Tom Schulman and directed by Andy Sandberg, between 5 December and 23 January; and Expecting, written by Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola, and directed by Andy Sanberg, starring John Bradley, Joe Dempsie, Katie Leung and Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, between 30 January and 27 March.
