Harris, 48, was found dead with multiple stab wounds.

He was discovered by Paul Novales, manager of the apartment block, on 2 November.

Novales told the Bay Area Reporter he knocked on Harris’ door after not seeing him for several days, but did not receive a response.

He recalled seeing “big drops” of blood “on the floor and smears of blood on the wall and the door going into the bathroom,” and immediately left to call police.

Police released no further information of the injuries apart from revealing Harris suffered “stab wounds” and that a knife was used as the weapon.

The woman who lived next door to Harris said that she heard “loud voices” in the early hours of Wednesday morning, but couldn’t hear what was being said.

Harris’ boyfriend, Ali, disappeared after Harris’ body was found, and has been uncountable since the death.

Authorities say he is being detained in an involuntary psychiatric hold as he awaits transfer to jail.

Ali’s brother, Ammar Aliraqi, who lives in Baghdad, said the family had not been in contact for three weeks ago.

When Ali finally made contact, he said he wanted to kill himself because he missed his mother.

The site Str8UpGayPorn reported that Ali was a newcomer to gay porn, working for Men.com and Pride Studios over the past year.

Ali was also a gogo dancer for local party promoter Gus Bean, who was a friend of the couple.

“Nobody seems to know where he is,” Bean said of Ali. “His phone goes to voicemail.”

“They seemed like a perfectly happy couple,” Bean told the B.A.R. “Keith’s an absolute sweetheart, the sweetest guy ever.”
