The happy news comes just a month after Martin revealed that the family would be adding one more to their brood.

While accepting an award at the annual Human Rights Campaign national dinner on September 27, he said: “My family is here.

“Jwan I don’t see you, but my husband Jwan, I love you. My beautiful twins Matteo and Valentino, I love you with all my heart, you’re my strength.

“My baby girl who is not here with us she’s at home with grandma, but she’s also the love of my heart. And by the way – I have to announce that we are pregnant. We are awaiting.”

Ricky Martin welcomed his eldest children – twins Matteo and Valentino – via a gestational surrogate in August 2008.

He came out as gay in 2010 following heavy media speculation and started dating Yosef in 2016.

The couple married in January 2018 and announced the birth of their daughter Lucia on December 31 of that year.

Children asked Ricky Martin where they came from.

Martin said that he has been open with his children about how they were brought into the world.

In a radio interview, he said that one of his sons had asked: “Dad, was I in your belly?”

He replied: “You were in my heart and you are still in my heart.”

Martin added: “So I explained further, because I couldn’t just leave it at that: ‘There was a woman that I adore with all my heart that helped me bring you into this world. She lent me her belly so that you could come and when you were born she put you in my arms.’ And he said ‘ah, OK’ and he kept playing.”
