Adele gatecrashes G-A-Y show and treats fans to pole dance: ‘Truly iconic behaviour’

Adele made an impromptu appearance at London’s iconic gay club Heaven on Thursday, 10 February, taking to the stage to pole dance and judge a stripping contest.
The singer was first spotted in the audience, passionately singing along to “It’s Raining Men”, but she soon made her way up on stage to join Drag Race UK star Cheryl Hole in judging Heaven’s G-A-Y Porn Idol stripping contest.
She even treated club-goers to a brief pole dance, with one Twitter user sharing a video and writing: “Yes… that’s the actual Adele pole dancing at G-A-Y’s ‘Porn Idol’ in Heaven nightclub… truly iconic behaviour.”

The singer asked Cheryl Hole if she could have a say in picking the winner of Porn Idol and Cheryl responded: “You can have the final say, you’re f**king Adele and I’m little old Cheryl.”
Adele picked a topless and now completely starstruck woman, telling her: “I’m going to go with my girl! I know I’ve had a lot of s**t the last couple of days.
“You were great but… we love females, f**king females don’t we. Yes I pick her, I can see you’re f**king beautiful, f**king lovely, f**king confident with all these men around.
“We love being f**king females don’t we? F**king love being females.”

One Twitter user hailed Adele as “queen of everything, queen of England, queen of the music industry, queen of the gays”, while another added: “Adele pole dancing at Heaven wasn’t on my 2022 bingo card, but I’m living for it.”
Another Twitter user pointed out: “Imagine being in G-A-Y to strip for Porn Idol and Adele is there and then she comes on stage and you’re awkwardly stood there in just your knickers.”
