Mighty Hoopla 2027 line-up announced: ‘A real pinch-me moment’

Robyn and The Pussycat Dolls will headline Mighty Hoopla 2027

The Pussycat Dolls and Robyn have been announced as the headliners for London’s Mighty Hoopla 2027, with early bird tickets already sold out.

Next year will see the festival celebrate its 10-year anniversary, with pop music legends set to take to the stage across 5 and 6 June, 2027 in Brockwell Park.

“Dancing On My Own” singer Robyn is set to headline on the Saturday, while The Pussycat Dolls will close the weekend on Sunday night.

The first wave of performers confirms Kelis, Eve, and Nicola Roberts will perform on the Saturday, alongside Countess Luann, Jordin Sparks, Louisa Johnson and Whigfield.

On Sunday, Bebe Rexha has been announced as the special guest, while Sophie Ellis-Bextor will play the Gay Icon Slot. Sunday will also see the likes of B*Witched, Ana Matronic, Icona Pop, Stooshe and the Vengaboys perform.

The first line-up poster also promises “over 100 acts still to be announced”.

‘We have created a celebration of life at its most joyful at Hoopla’

The festival, which has become a staple in the UK queer community’s calendar every year, was headlined last year by Lily Allen and the Scissor Sisters.

Co-founder Glyn Fussell said: “These past 10 years have been the biggest privilege of my life. In a world that can often feel hostile and scary, we have created a celebration of life at its most joyful at Hoopla. It blows my mind daily, and I take protecting it in all its glorious technicolour more seriously than anything.

“If I could look back at that young, queer, pop-obsessed kid and tell them this would be possible, I wouldn’t have believed it. That is why we won’t stop creating this beautiful space for you all to come and play.”

‘A real pinch-me moment and a genuine honour for us’

Co-founder Jamie Tagg added: “It’s wild to think that 10 years ago we couldn’t even get a bank loan because no one thought the festival was a good idea. Now we have some of the biggest names in music wanting to perform on our stages.

“Having Robyn and The Pussycat Dolls headline is a real pinch-me moment and a genuine honour for us. June can’t come soon enough.”

Early bird tickets sold out when they went on sale earlier this year, however standard ticket release will open on Tuesday, 3 November at 10am.

Weekend tickets are priced from £184.50 plus booking fee, while individual day tickets start from £84.50 plus booking fee, with cheaper options for early entry or group tickets.
