Miley Cyrus is headlining Stand by You, a live 2021 concert special for Pride Month.

The popstar says she will “celebrate Pride through the power of music” with the Miley Cyrus Pride concert 2021, which includes special guest performers.

The Stand By You concert will be available to exclusively stream from 25 June on Peacock TV.

Announcing the show on social media the “Midnight Sky” singer promises “a lot of guests, a lot of Pride and a lot of wardrobe changes.”

The concert was filmed in Miley’s hometown of Nashville, Tennessee with the star saying they “brought a lot of love into the legendary” Ryman Auditorium.

It’s already been confirmed that she’ll be joined by guests including duo Brothers Osborne, who’s member TJ Osborne came out as gay in February 2021, making him the first openly gay artist signed to a major country music label.

Other acts joining the show are gay country singer Orville Peck, pioneering Black country artist Mickey Guyton, group Little Big Town and Maren Morris.

The trailer features a clip of Miley performing a rendition of “I’ll Stand By You”, telling the crowd that “everybody is welcome here” and wearing some amazing outfits – obviously.

Miley has previously said she identifies as pansexual and queer, discussing her then marriage to Liam Hemsworth in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2019 saying: “We’re redefining what it looks like for someone that’s a queer person like myself to be in a hetero relationship.”

She added: “What I preach is: People fall in love with people, not gender, not looks, not whatever. What I’m in love with exists on almost a spiritual level.

“Like, who gives a f**k if he’s a guy, if I’m a girl, or if he was a woman – who gives a f**k?”.

In 2014 she launched the non-profit Happy Hippie Foundation which focuses on youth homelessness and the LGBT+ community.

The Foundation has previously teamed up with Converse to create a Pride collection, The Trevor Project and It Gets Better Project.

The Stand by You Pride concert will be available to watch for US viewers on streaming service Peacock and you can sign up at peacock.tv. The international release date and platform is to be confirmed.
