Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly got engaged and drank each other’s blood

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly engaged in Puerto Rico

Bisexual icon Megan Fox celebrated her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly in a rather unique way as the pair “drank each other’s blood” following an intimate proposal in Puerto Rico.

After more than a year of dating, rocker MGK presented the Jennifer’s Body star with a custom engagement ring at the location where the pair first “fell in love”.

Sharing footage of the proposal on Instagram, Megan Fox couldn’t hide her delight as the 31-year-old musician asked if she would marry him.

Sharing a heartfelt post about the moment, the 35-year-old gushed: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree, We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.

“Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”

Megan Fox continued: “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes. …and then we drank each other’s blood 1.11.22 ✨”

The video didn’t show the moment when the pair decided to have a sip of each other’s blood, however, it did feature multiple angles of the moment when Machine Gun Kelly got down on one knee outside the Spa Botánico at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach.

Kelly also shared a closer look at the engagement ring he designed for the actress, revealing he had chosen to use their birthstones for the custom sparkler.

Posting a video of Fox wearing the ring, he wrote: “Yes, in this life and every life” ? beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me.

“I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022 ✨”

The smitten couple met while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020 and they were soon spotted spending time together in May that year.

Days later, Fox’s ex-husband Brian Austin Green confirmed that they had decided to split after 10 years of marriage.

Fox shares three children with Green – sons Noah, eight, Bodhi, seven, and Journey, four. Meanwhile, MGK shares a daughter, Casie, with Emma Cannon.

Back in 2009, the Jonah Hex actress revealed she was bisexual in an interview with Empire magazine as she stated: “I think people are born bisexual and they make subconscious choices based on the pressures of society. I have no question in my mind about being bisexual.

“But I’m also a hypocrite. I would never date a girl who was bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I’d never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man.”

During Pride month in 2021, the actress chose to celebrate being a member of the LGBT+ community as she wrote on Instagram: “Putting the B in LGBTQIA for over two decades [rainbow emojis]”
