In the episode, the pair perform the sound “Get It On the Floor” at the strip club that the series is centred around, and the song will appear on the season two soundtrack which drops on 14 August.

Fans were loving the surprise appearance of Megan on the series, with one tweeting: “seeing megan on p valley definitely put a smile on my face, i love that woman DOWN”.

Another said: “MEGAN LOOKING SO AMAZING ON P VALLEY THATS MOTHER”.

And somebody else wrote that it “made my whole year”.

Sharing a selfie with P-Valley writer and co-executive producer Patrik-Ian Polk on her Instagram story, Megan wrote: “I was shooting this on with my lastttt energy lol but I wanted to do it so bad I want them to bring Tina back season3.”

The writer revealed how difficult it was to get Megan involved, commenting, “Megan @theestallion is one of the hardest working people in show business. Making her appearance on #PValley happen in the midst of a sold-out tour as well as a host of other engagements was no small feat. But it was so worth it.”

The series premiered in July 2020 and has recently returned for its second season, which will wrap up on 14 August.

It follows the lives of employees working at a strip club called The Pynk in the fictional city of Chucalissa, Mississippi.

Since its debut P-Valley has received critical acclaim and a number of big award wins and nominations as well as its LGBTQ+ representation.

This includes a nomination for Outstanding Drama Series at the GLAAD Awards.

While the NAACP Image Awards nominated Brandee Evans (Mercedes) and Nicco Annan (Uncle Clifford) in the lead actress and actor categories.

Annan originated the role of Uncle Clifford in the play version, who is a non-binary strip club owner dealing with financial difficulties and the threat of the club’s closure.

His performance was named as one of the best TV performances of 2020 by The Hollywood Reporter, who said it was a “moment of a star emerging fully formed”.
