Blue’s Duncan James takes major step in relationship with stripper boyfriend

Blue member Duncan James has revealed he’s taking the next step in his relationship with new boyfriend Alexander Roque, who performs with the Forbidden Nights strip show.
The 48-year-old, who came out as bisexual in 2009 but in more recent years has identified as gay, has been dating Roque since late last year, after splitting from his longterm ex Rodrigo Reis.
And now, James has revealed he and Roque are moving in together after eight months.
The “All Rise” singer is currently living with his mum, and Roque will be moving in with them too.
He told Daily Mail: “Alex gets on so well with my mum. They have really fun banter between them and they speak to each other on the phone daily. It’s just really lovely.”
“I’m excited because it’s a new chapter of my life. I’m so happy and I’m in a really loving relationship. And the fact that he gets on so well with my mum,” he added.
“I couldn’t be in a relationship with somebody if my mum didn’t get on with them. I’m so close to my mum.”
James said that he also gets on with his boyfriend’s parents, labelling them his “extended family”.
The pop star previously described Roque as “a bit of a lovebug”, when he confirmed the relationship with the Daily Mail last November.
