Download Festival announces lineup and ticket prices for 2023 edition.

Download Festival has announced details of its huge 20th anniversary lineup – and tickets go on sale soon.

The festival will return to Donington Park from 7-11 June for its 20th edition.

They’ve confirmed 60 acts so far, with Metallica, Slipknot and Bring Me The Horizon headlining the bill.

Tickets for Download Festival will be released at 10am on 10 November at Ticketmaster and See Tickets.

Next year’s edition will see Metallica perform on the Thursday and Saturday of the festival, returning for first time since 2012.

They’ll headline the two nights with “two unique sets”, which will see the group perform “no repeats” for fans.

While Bring Me The Horizon will top the bill on Friday and Slipknot will close the festival on Sunday.

Other names confirmed include Evanescence, who performed at the first ever Download Festival in 2013, Architects, Placebo and Disturbed.

Also featuring across the weekend will be Ghost, Parkway Drive, Alexisonfire, Pendulum and Within Temptation.

How to get Download Festival tickets

They go on general sale from 10am on Thursday, 10 November via Ticketmaster and See Tickets.

Fans can sign up for a presale, which takes place at 9pm on Tuesday, 8 November on the official Download website.

This will be weekend tickets, while day tickets are likely to be released at a closer date to the event.

What are Download 2023 tickets prices?

Tickets for next year’s festival are confirmed to be priced at the following:

  • Weekend and five-night general camping – £345.00 (including fees)
  • Weekend and four-night general camping – £325.00 (including fees)
  • Weekend arena only – £300.00 (including fees)
  • Car parking – £26

The festival will be headlined by Metallica, who will perform two unique sets on the Thursday and Saturday of the festival. The Friday night will be headlined by Bring Me The Horizon and the Sunday will see a headline set from Slipknot.
