Over 3,000 people turned out for Manchester Pride which was themed Class of 2017.

The event celebrated its 25th year of being held in the city with over 100 floats leading the parade through Liverpool Road up to Manchester’s Gay Village.

The Coronation Street float paid tribute to super fan Martyn Hett who was killed in the Manchester Arena bombing.

Those at the event are treated to performances by Pixie Lott, Take That and former Spice Girl Melanie C.

Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham was spotted in the parade doing the YMCA with a group of police officers.

The Labour politician pulled out some ultimate dad dance moves.
