Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump warns his kids ahead of potential criminal charges: Daddy won’t save you

Mary Trump has warned that her uncle Donald Trump would happily throw his own children to the wolves if it meant he could avoid prosecution.
The Trump Organisation, which employs both Eric and Donald Trump Jr, is currently being investigated by authorities in New York – meaning the former president’s sons could find themselves in legal difficulty.
During an appearance on CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time on Tuesday (8 June), Mary Trump was asked if her uncle would “take one for his kids” if prosecutors were to bring charges against them – and she didn’t hold back.
“No, he wouldn’t. I think if that were to happen, if prosecutors were to go after his children, he would fully expect them to take a hit for him to benefit him,” Mary said.
“What he probably doesn’t understand is that’s not really how it works. They always try to get people to flip so they can go after the bigger target.
“But Donald would never imagine in a million years that his children would do that – although I’m fairly sure they would – so if that indeed happens it’s going to be fascinating because he would never do anything to protect them if it were at his expense.”
Donald Trump ‘doesn’t evolve’, says niece Mary Trump
When asked how she knows Donald Trump would do nothing to protect his children, Mary Trump replied: “I’ve known him my whole life and unfortunately I’ve had to analyse him pretty closely over the last four or five years.
“This is somebody who’s never changed – he doesn’t evolve, and as you said earlier he has one thing he cares about and that’s himself. That will never, ever change no matter who gets in his way, no matter who gets hurt – even if it’s his kids.”

Donald Trump’s future started to look uncertain in May when prosecutors in Manhattan announced that they had convened a grand jury that would “decide whether to indict” the former president and other executives at his company.
The announcement came at the tail end of a two-year investigation and suggests that prosecutors might have found evidence of criminal wrongdoing – although it is not yet clear if they have found evidence against Trump himself or other executives at his company.
In a statement released to The Guardian on Tuesday (8 June), the Manhattan district attorney said: “We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organisation is no longer purely civil in nature. We are now actively investigating the Trump Organisation in a criminal capacity, along with the Manhattan DA.”
Mary Trump, who is estranged from her uncle, has emerged as one of his fiercest critics. In 2020, she published her searing tell-all book Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created The World’s Most Dangerous Man.
