Listen: UK’s Eurovision entry compared to vintage waffle ad
The UK’s Eurovision entry has been compared to a jingle from an advert for Birds Eye Waffles.
However, the ‘electro-swing’ song, which was written by David Mindel and Adrian Bax White, has attracted attention online for its similarity to a Birds Eye Waffles jingle.
The “Waffly Versatile” ad – which aired during the 1980s – has a lot of people scratching their heads at the similarity, and several mash-ups have already been created.
@BirdsEyeUK have you heard the UK Eurovision entry for this year? Sounds remarkably like your 80s advert for potato waffles!
