Irish politician calls for crackdown on gay cruising
An Irish newspaper has exposed a website offering gay cruising areas in Ulster.
The Belfast Telegraph found the internet site contained 76 recommended listings including public railway station toilets, and invites feedback from users.
SDLP MLA John Dallat said this shows more needs to be done to tackle the issue.
A PSNI spokesman reminded the gay community that sexual activity in public is illegal, “We continue to monitor public toilets for signs of criminal damage, obscene graffiti and other evidence of unlawful activity.”
