Christian Institute posts blog from ‘ex-gay’ Christian caught on Grindr

The Christian Institute hasĀ carried a blog post from a Christian ‘ex-gay’ activist who was caught using Grindr.

The British pressure group – headed by Colin Hart – has opposed a raft of equality legislation, including same-sex marriage, the Equality Act, the repeal of Section 28 and equal age of consent.

Today, they reprintedĀ an article fromĀ Matt Moore, a Christian activist who claims to have been cured of homosexuality.

However, Mr Moore was exposed last year as a user of the gay hookup app Grindr – a fact which is conveniently forgotten in the CI’s report.

He saidĀ last year: “I am wrong in having been on grindr. I havenā€™t changed my views on homosexuality, the bible, etc.

“Creating a grindr profile and talking to guys on it was major disobedience on my part… disobedience to Christ.

“Disobedience to a loving and gracious God. Thankfully, I believe that He forgives me for this disobedience.

“I believe the blood of Christ covers this disobedience. And I wonā€™t be on grindr again… ever.”

He wrote today: “Homosexual desires exist within people because people possess sinful natures.”

The Christian Institute claimed last month thatĀ the number of gays on TV is ā€œout of proportionā€ with reality.

Previously, the Christian Institute claimed there aren’t enough gays in UK to justify giving them equalĀ rights.
