GBBO’s Paul Hollywood didn’t like Ruby Tandoh’s coming out announcement

The Great British Bake Off judge questioned why he was mentioned in Ruby Tandoh’s tweets.
Former GBBO contestant and food columnist Ruby Tandoh announced her sexuality on twitter this week – with a video of Diana Ross performing ‘I’m coming out’. She also had strong words for people who’d suggested she’d slept with judge Paul Hollywood during the competition – declaring them “massive s**tting misogynists”.
Mr Hollywood responded, saying while he was happy for her, he questioned why she had mentioned him.
@rubytandoh very happy for you Ruby… but why do you feel it necessary bringing me into your announcement ?

He later clarified to a fan that it was only the strong language he objected to. In an now deleted tweet, he said it was the “wording, not the content, as my family do see this too.” Ms Tandoh did not reply, but tweeted her thanks for the support and good wishes she had received from fans.
and to those who came out yesterday, spurred on by the love/support you saw on here – I am so fucking happy for you and a bit teary too tbh
