This Parliamentary candidate wants to re-criminalise homosexuality and ban pride
An independent Parliamentary candidate has pledged to ban pride marches and jail LGBT people.
Susan Anne White, who is standing in West Tyrone in Northern Ireland, has unveiled her ābiblically correctā manifesto.
The candidate pledges to, among other things: āOppose the LGBT agenda, whilst showing compassion to those who struggle with gender confusion.
āOppose the redefinition of marriage and uphold Biblical man/woman marriage
āBan gay pride parades and recriminalise homosexuality
āStop the State funding of LGBT organisations.ā
She also pledges to āoppose the Islamification of British cultureā, āmake adultery a punishable offenceā and ārestore corporal punishment to schoolsā.
The candidate told the Belfast Telegraph: āIt is society that has moved. Not so far in the past, most people would have shared my views.
āMy views only seem extreme because society has moved away from Godās principles.ā
Ms White, who has been branded āUKIP on steroidsā, added: āI believe in a God who can work miracles but, realistically speaking, I donāt think I will win.
āMy concern is not so much with winning, it is with trying, and to try is not to fail.
āIn standing I have a wider platform than I would if I did not stand, and many people will hear the Biblical message and principles.ā
Earlier today, it was revealed that UKIP candidate Geoff Caton has previously posted anti-gay remarks to Facebook, writing: posted homophobic remarks on Facebook, claiming ābeing an arse bandit [is] nothing to be proud ofā.
