A man who got naked for the World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR), at the weekend, had to be removed after he got a little bit excited.

The cyclist, who was not identified, was taking part in the event in Canterbury, Kent, but was removed by police before the start, after he became ā€œarousedā€.

According to witnesses, the view was ā€œhorribleā€, and one person told Cambridge News: ā€œI heard gasps and I turned around ā€“ it was a horrible sight.

ā€œItā€™s fair to say he was overexcited and got aroused.

ā€œIt looked like he was enjoying the event a bit too much.ā€

The cyclist was spoken to by police after being removed from the event.

Organisers had previously told participants: ā€œThe police have confirmed they WILL act on ANY inappropriate behaviour and we, the organisers will support that.

ā€œIf you are coming just to be a pain in the neck and to be the one to end this WNBR weā€™d rather you stayed at home.ā€

Ride organiser Barry Freeman also commented, saying: ā€œWe do not accept this behaviour.ā€

The WNBR is an event organised in order to draw attention to dangers faced by cyclists from other road users.
