The niece of Martin Luther King Jr, Alveda King, has gone on a homophobic rant, saying it is ‘impossible’ for two men or women to marry.

King, an anti-gay activist, spoke at a panel discussion hosted by the adamantly homophobic Family Research Council.

In a video, published by Right Wing Watch, King, among other ramblings, said it is “impossible” for two people of the same sex to marry.

ā€œItā€™s impossible to marry two men to each other or two women, itā€™s just not possible.

ā€œThe two cannot become one. It is biologically impossible, scientifically impossible, emotionally impossible, definitely spiritually impossible.

“You can actually hold a gun, Heaven forbid, and say, ā€˜do this marriage,ā€™ now he or she may say, ā€˜okay,ā€™ or they may say, ā€˜I wonā€™t,ā€™ but even if they speak the words, it is not possible, it is impossible. We have to be able to articulate that on all the levels we just said: spiritual, physical, science.ā€
