Priest who dressed up as Hugh Hefner and simulated sex with male Playboy bunnies begs forgiveness
A priest is in hot water after he stimulated sex with male Playboy bunnies while dressed as Hugh Hefner.
Juan Carlos MartĆnez, parish priest for the town of Cuntis, Spain, was celebrating a local carnival when he donned the outfit.
He posed on a float dressed as elderly Playboy millionaire Hefner, wearing a dressing gown, captainās cap and cigar.
The priest was sandwiched between two men in black leotards, stockings and a barely-there netting skirt and topped off with bunny ears over colourful wigs.
He has now been forced to apologise ā after officials from the Catholic church took offence, reports The Local.
The men were celebrating an annual carnival in the town of Pontevedra, northwestern Spain, near to the priestās Cuntis parish.
At one point, a male bunny leapt on to the priest and simulated sex.
Locals in the town, which has just 5,000 residents, reportedly loved the whole thing.
Theyāve come out to defend the priest since the incident, saying it was just in the spirit of the carnival.
However Father MartĆnez is now seeking forgivness for his actions.
He has issued a formal apology, saying: āI am so sorry to those who feel offendedā.
A senior priest visited his home to repremand him for the incident, but found dozens of Cuntis parishners gathered outside to defend the Playboy incident.
āSuch things happen at carnival, itās just a bit of fun,ā one resident said in a TV report broadcast on Antena 3.
āHeās a great priest and everyone loves him.ā
The church has agreed not to take any further action.
