Aaron Carter fears he could be HIV-positive as he breaks down on television

Aaron Carter has revealed he be believes he could be HIV-positive, weeks after coming out as bisexual.

The former popstar, brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, sobbed on US television as he shared his health fears.

The troubled performer claims he is addicted to cosmetic surgery and painkillers, as well as addressing rumours he’s been using crack cocaine and meth.

“I need help, I’m scared,” he tells the hosts of The Doctors in a clip from Thursday’s show obtained by the Daily Mail.

Carter’s weight has tumbled to just 115 pounds, which is underweight for a six foot adult, leading him to fear his HIV status.

He adds: “Because I’m so skinny, I’m still so skinny. And that was the biggest one for me.”

He also confesses to fearing he doesn’t have long left to live saying: “My greatest fear is not being able to live as long as I can. That’s my greatest fear.”

The singer’s father, Bob, and sister, Leslie, both died in 2012 from cancer.

He admits to becoming addicted to prescription drugs and cosmetic work in the years since.
