Celebrity Big Brother’s Andrew Brady to judge gay stripping contest

Andrew Brady is swapping the Celebrity Big Brother house for London’s oldest gay nightclub for a stripping contest.

Fan favourite Andrew Brady will make his debut at London’s Heaven later this month — judging a competition where members of the audience strip on stage for the chance of winning a cash prize.

The regular club night, known as Porn Idol, has featured many famous drag queens, including RuPaul’s drag race winners Bianca Del Rio, Jinx Monsoon and Bob the Drag Queen.

It is not yet confirmed whether Andrew’s drag persona ‘Betty Swollocks’ will be making an appearance at the club night.

Promotion for Andrew Brady’s debut at the club has referenced his in-house feud with ultra-conservative housemate Ann Widdecombe.

In one of the Apprentice star’s final episodes, Andrew hit out at fellow housemate Ann Widdecombe for her anti-LGBT views, branding her evil and calling her a “c***.”

G-A-Y, the club group Heaven is part of, have headlined the event on their social media with the line: “Anyone who calls Ann Widdecombe a c**t deserves to judge G-A-Y Porn Idol.”

Heaven, which is due to celebrate its 40th anniversary as a live venue next year, has hosted some of the biggest stars in the world under the G-A-Y banner.

The Spice Girls did their first ever gig at the venue and Kylie Minogue has appeared 12 times, alongside the likes of Adele, Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey.

Whilst celebrating Courtney Act’s win, Bianca Del Rio had some choice words about runner-up and ultra-conservative Ann Widdecombe.

In a video posted to her Instagram, the season six Drag Race winner congratulated Courtney and echoed Andrew’s earlier insult.

Del Rio said: “Congratulations pussy face – we’re so proud of you – thank you to everybody who voted – and let’s just say it and say it out loud – Ann is a f*****g c***, and she lost!”

In his first interview since the end of Celebrity Big Brother, Andrew reflected on Ann Widdecombe and said that homophobia is still homophobia regardless of your age.

He said: “Someone like Ann has been in the public eye, has been educated, and I don’t think people in that instance can be forgiven.

“Prejudice is prejudice. It doesn’t matter what shape it comes in, or size, or age – it’s still prejudice.

“I don’t want to compare the two to an extreme, but if you look at Donald Trump, he’s 71-years-old and we’re not using his age as an excuse as to why he’s getting away with all this stuff,” he continued.

The club made headlines last month after being evacuated due to a gas leak, causing over 1000 revellers to leave the central London venue at 3 am.

Courtney Act is expected to make her first appearance since winning the show at the club next week.
