British boxer Tyson Fury calls Lennox Lewis ‘homosexual’ on Twitter
British boxer Tyson Fury has resorted to homophobic behaviour in his spat with boxing legend Lennox Lewis and current world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.
Fury, 25, tweeted that they were both “homosexuals” and “100% homosexuals” – although neither boxer is known to be gay.
He peppered his tweets with a series of expletives – the homophobic ones have now been deleted.
Lewis, 48, is currently retired from the sport, and said that in spite of being nearly twice the younger fighter’s age he would still knock Fury out.
It was those remarks which lead to the latest spat with Fury.
Lewis, a former undisputed world heavyweight champion dismissed rumours early in his career that he was gay.
