Actor Jaden Smith has continued not caring what his critics think as he wore a white dress to his high school prom.

Teen actor Jaden Smith has previously been photographed out and about wearing skirts and dresses, and uploaded a few snaps of his own to social media.

He accompanied one picture of a fetching black and white number with the caption: “Went To TopShop To Buy Some Girl Clothes, I Mean ‘Clothes’”

Smith, the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, attended his prom over the weekend with actress Amanda Stenberg, who plays Rue in in the Hunger Games film.

Stenberg tweeted snaps of the two before their prom, with just the word “prom”.

Jaden last month closed all his social media accounts with no explanation.

The 16-year-old Karate Kid star was a popular figure on the social network for his unique tweets and, most notably opening up about wearing dresses.

In March, his representives stepped in to deny he is gay, after hetweeted his love for rapper Tyler the Creator.

Speaking to Billboard magazine recently, Smith compared himself to Einstein, as he discussed his style choices.

He said: “Einstein didn’t really like to change clothes because he had too much other stuff to worry about and I’m the same,” he said. “All black is pretty much my go-to look. If somebody is just wearing something for the blogs, that’s really sad because they’re not living for themselves, versus someone wearing a kimono who’s having an awesome time. I really look to see, do you care more about what other people think, or are you having fun?”
