Sam Fox in rabies scare

Eighties pin-up Sam Fox has revealed that she is having rabies treatment after she was bitten by a stray cat on holiday.
The star, 44, was staying on the island of Koh Samui with her partner Myra Stratton when the animal attacked her.
She told the Daily Star: “I love animals, especially cats, but over there they’re considered like rats and are left to fend for themselves.
“I ended up feeding a lot of them, giving them bits of shellfish after dinner. This one was laying on my feet and I thought we were getting on really well…
“So I went to stroke him but he bit me so hard it went down to the bone.”
She said the cat was known locally as a “crazy cat”, meaning it was suspected to have the disease.
Fox was rushed to a medical centre for rabies treatment and remains on medication since returning to the UK last week.
She said: “The treatment makes you feel sick and horrible. Really fluey and shaky.”
Rumours about Fox’s sexuality first emerged in 1999, when she judged a lesbian beauty pageant.
In 2003, she announced that she was in love with Stratton, who was her manager at the time.
