EastEnders Spoilers: Max Branning gets hit down
As the week kicks off in Walford it seems as though weāre about to say ābon voyageā to Tanya, Jack and the kids as they head off to France. But this is soapland, you know itās not going to be that easy for them to leave, not if Max has anything to do with it anyway.
As Lauren says her goodbyes to Peter in the cafĆ©, Max grabs his daughter and tells her that sheās not going anywhere. After a shouting match, he eventually lets the young girl go and heads to the pub to drown his sorrows.
When Jack later finds out about the incident he is not a happy man. He heads to his brotherās to confront him. Despite the fact that Jack nearly knocks the front door down,
Max refuses to answer and cowers inside.
Elsewhere in the square, Callumās on his stall busy ignoring the advances of a beautiful woman. Heās made a bet with Stacey that he wonāt flirt all day. Will this babe break his steely determination? As Stacey and Danielle watch his efforts to stay calm a loud gunshot rings out. Stacey dismisses it as a firework going off, but is it?
Over at the Truemansā, Denise and Darren come up with another plausible explanation for the noise ā a car backfiring.
When a flustered Jack arrives back at Tanyaās we start to wonder whatās really just gone on in the square. A little while later, as the family are about to leave an armed response unit smashes through their front door. Within seconds Tanya and Jack are handcuffed on the floor and Jack is being arrested for attempted murder. A smug-looking Max appears at the door. What has really happened? And will Tanya stand by her man? Itās going to be an exciting week in Walford as this storyline unfolds. You wonāt want to miss it!
Elsewhere, Libby is having problems of her own. She doesnāt want to go to Oxford University. Mum, Denise thinks that her daughterās relationship with Darren is holding her back. Can the young loversā relationship survive a move to college and a meddling mother?
Stacey and Callum turn up the heat on their relationship this week too. Poor Danielle feels left in the dark about it and when they both keep disappearing her suspicions are aroused. But things are going to get even more complicated for Stacey and Callum later in the week, just wait and see.
Thereās a Halloween party at the Vic this week too. Now you know thatās going to be interesting. With Peggy dressed up as Countess Dracula and all the locals doing their best to look even more sinister than they usually do, this is going to prove funny. Itās certainly an eventful party but things take a turn for the sinister when Morgan goes missing. A frantic Ricky goes on the hunt for the child and is relieved to find the young scamp playing while holding a toy gun and shouting ābang, bang, youāre dead!ā Except that itās not a toy gun at all and Max seems to know that. When Morgan drops it Max races to pick it up but is pipped at the post by DI Turner. What does this mean for Max?
