āI was doing something I love and also wondering, āWhatās wrong with me?ā You hate yourself for feeling bad, so you pretend youāre happy.
āIād ask myself, āCanāt you just flip a switch, be a character, play the game?āā
The 28-year-old has now said she is much more relaxed since she came out.
She added: āI do interviews [now] with a sense of, āOh, this is what itās likeā.

The Juno star ā who recently finished filming a new documentary exploring homophobia around the world ā said she hopes that one day ācoming outā is no longer an issue.
