Justin Bieber has comforted a queer fan over their experience of homophobia in Christianity, and invited them into his church.

In a video posted on Twitter, Bieber, who goes to the Pentecostal Hillsong Church, can be heard talking to a fan about going to services.

The fan then explains to Bieber that they haven’t being going to church because of bad experiences there.

“I’ve been trying to find a place that’s inclusive of everybody, because I came out as queer, like, not long ago, so I’m trying to find a nice place,” the fan told Bieber, adding: “No-one is nice. Everyone is so homophobic.”

Bieber responded: “Yeah, that breaks my heart for you. I’m so sorry. That’s not okay.”

He added: “If you ever want to come to any of the services, any of them would love to have you. We’d love to have you in there, you’re more than welcome to come any time.”

At the end of the video, Bieber asks the fan for a hug, before embracing them.

In May 2017, Bieber, alongside Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, joined Ariana Grande at a star-studded special charity concert into raise funds for the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing, which killed 22 people.

And, in August 2016, it was reported that Bieber turned down a $5 million fee to perform at the Republican National Convention.

Gossip outlet TMZ reported the claim from sources close to the “Baby” singer’s management agency CAA.

The source said that a promoter tried to nail down Bieber for a performance in Cleveland, Ohio near the Quicken Loans Arena – where the RNC was taking place.

The 45-minute performance would apparently have been Bieber’s biggest payday to date, netting $5 million upfront for a set at the Republican event.

The singer apparently “seriously considered” the offer – but turned it down after it was made clear that he would be banned from making fun of the GOP or Presidential nominee Donald Trump during the event.

Bieber’s band, who are all African-Americans, had allegedly urged the singer not to accept the booking.
