The classic third generation smart speaker is Amazon’s most popular. It’s been updated with a fabric design and improved speaker for you to stream your favourite songs or audiobooks.

It’s currently been discounted to £21.99 in an early Black Friday deal, which matches last year’s price in the sale.

You can keep an eye out for a price drop across the next week as the sale officially kicks off on 18 November, but previously this edition of the Echo Dot has sold out before Christmas due to huge demand.

Next up is the fourth generation Echo Dot which is currently half price on the Amazon webiste.

Usually priced at £49.99, you can now get the smart Bluetooth speaker with Alexa in charcoal for £24.99.

Similarly, this edition of the Echo Dot might drop again in price next week when the online retail giant launches its Black Friday sale, but the current price is one of the best ever for the fourth gen version.

Finally, there’s the latest Echo Dot release, the fifth generation which dropped this year.

The smart speaker with clock and Alexa comes in a cloud blue and is currently priced at £64.99.

This is the standard price for the device, but shoppers will be hoping for a drop in price when Black Friday week starts on 18 November.

When is Black Friday 2022?

This year’s Black Friday will officially take place on 25 November, with a number of brands running week, or month-long discounts on thousands of products.

This includes athleisure brand, Gymshark which has launched an up to 60 percent off sale on gym gear and loungewear.

The brand has confirmed there’s “no end date just yet” for the sale, but customers can get discounts on leggings, sport bras, hoodies, shorts and more.

While Revolution Beauty is offering up to 50 percent thousands of products including its popular advent calendar and collaborations including Clueless and The Powerpuff Girls ranges.

It’s also been confirmed that Amazon will kick off its Black Friday Week on 18 November, with deals expected to run into Cyber Monday on 28 November.

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, then you’ll be able to access Black Friday deals before anyone else.

The members get early access to ‘Lightning Deals’, which only run for a short, allotted time – and once they’ve sold out, they’re gone.

This includes Amazon’s own devices, gaming products, TVs, beauty products and garden and homeware.
