RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under fans spot crucial editing fail in Snatch Game episode

Drag Race Down Under

Keen-eyed viewers have spotted a competition-spoiling editing mistake in the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under.

In season two episode four, the queens went head to head in the legendary Snatch Game where they impersonated various celebrities to rise to the top.

At the end of the episode, the queens were lined up to find out who had used their comedic wit to come out victorious according to judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Rhys Nicolson.

In the end it came down to Hannah Conda who slayed with her impression of Liza Minnelli and Spankie Jackson who wowed as Dame Edna Everage.

As the camera flicked between the two front runners to build the tension, viewers spotted Hannah standing at the back of the runway while the camera was focused on Spankie – meaning she had won the challenge.

Only moments later their suspicions were confirmed as Hannah Conda was announced the winner for that week.

One person wrote: “No, like honestly, was the editor drunk? How could they miss that?”

Miss Hannah Conda winning the challenge and unlocking the powers of teleportation in one episode… truly iconic,” another fan joked.

And that was not the only chaotic aspect of the episode.

After Minnie Cooper was eliminated following her lip-sync with Beverly, she joked: “Before I go, is this where we do the reshoot and send Beverly home?”

To which one fan added: “Showing Hannah Conda on stage, then in the background, then back on stage announced as winner followed by Minnie Cooper’s exit line about reshooting the elimination really sums up this production.” Followed by many crying emojis.

It seems Minnie’s elimination was a surprise for her as she told Daily Mail Australia she “felt quite safe” because of her “great rapport with Ru”.

While many viewers could not get over Minnie’s chaotic lip-sync performance to Lady Gaga’s “Dance in the Dark”.

As she frantically ran side to side on stage, one viewer wrote: “I don’t think I can ever forgive Minnie Cooper for butchering ‘Dance in The Dark like that.”

While another added: “Not Minnie Cooper being surprised to be eliminated. Gurl! I know you hate Gaga because ma’am, what was that lip-sync???”

RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under airs every Sunday at 9pm on BBC Three.
